Since its establishment in January 2007, Polygon Environmental Planning has built up a diverse portfolio of environmental consulting projects, ranging from township establishment, commercial developments and infrastructure development to activities as diverse as motocross racing and crocodile farming. The firm is owned by Mrs Louise Agenbag, a qualified environmental scientist who holds a BSc in Environmental Sciences (cum laude) and a BSc Honours in Geography (cum laude), both from the University of Pretoria, as well as a certificate in Environmental Management Systems (ISO 14001:2004) from the Potchefstroom campus of the North-West University.  She has also been a committee member of the Limpopo branch of the International Association for Impact Assessment's South African chapter (IAIAsa) since 2007.  Louise has been involved in a wide range of environmental assessment and planning projects from small to large scale, in six of South Africa's provinces.

Polygon Environmental Planning, a 100% woman-owned SMME, was established in January 2007 with the aim of providing a range of environmental consulting services to various sectors of the economy. Since the firm’s inception in January 2007, we have built up a diverse portfolio of projects, ranging from township establishment, commercial developments and infrastructure development to activities as diverse as crocodile farming and motocross racing, for both private clients and different levels of government. Our involvement in these projects has included a wide range of environmental services and application processes through various authorities. Although most of our work is concentrated in the Limpopo Province, where we are based, we are involved in projects in several provinces. Drawing on our own experience and expertise in the environmental field, and on the network of specialists with whom we collaborate on relevant projects, Polygon Environmental Planning is well-placed to provide the environmental consulting services and guidance needed for your project.
